Below is a text version of the video above! This is for those that prefer a laid-out text walkthrough or would like some clarity on some of the points made throughout the video.

Properly configuring your Sensedge is the key to success! This walkthrough will cover the different pages under the Settings tab of your device - including where you can discover the device's unique ID to add the device to your Kaiterra Web App.

General Settings (1)

In the bottom-left of your Sensedge device is the Settings tab, which will reveal a long list of categories, starting with:

General Settings (2)

General Settings - which covers the basic settings of the device, such as the standards and units used for each pollutant, and other basic user interaction settings.

Auto Power On (3)
Toggle Pollutants - allows you to show specific pollutant values on the main part of the "My Air" screen.
Auto Power On - allows your device to automatically power on whenever power is restored to the device.
PIN (4)

PIN - allows you to set a security PIN code, ensuring that the device cannot be tampered with by unauthorized users.

Your PIN code can be set to "Always", which requires the code any time the device's screen is turned on, or "Settings", which only requires the code when trying to change the settings of the device.

Sensors (5)The Sensors Settings will allow you to view the health of your sensor modules. This can be useful for identifying if it might be time to change out your sensors!

This is also where you can reset the baseline values for your TVOC sensor, the CO2 calibration, and setting a PM2.5 correction factor.
Only use these features if you know what you are doing!

Data Export (6)

Data Export allows you to retrieve the data from your Sensedge device.
Email allows you to email the data from our cloud, while Storage allows you to retrieve the local data on the device via Micro SD card.

WiFi (7)
WiFi Settings allows you to connect your device to a 2.4GHz WiFi connection. It also lets you discover the device's MAC Address, set the Static/Manual IP, and connect to a Hidden SSID under Additional Settings.

Ethernet (8)

Ethernet Settings allows you to discover the Ethernet MAC Address and set the Static/Manual IP of the device.

Screen (9)

Screen Settings allows you to set the brightness of the device, as well as the device's screen orientation and timeout duration.

Language (10)
Language Settings allows you to change the language of your device. When chosen, the screen will briefly dim as your new language is loaded onto the device.

Time (11)

Time Settings allows you to set the time of your device. This will be automatically set after you connect your device to the Internet for the first time.

This setting is important in order to retrieve accurate data from the device!
If your date and time are set incorrectly, your data will not be accurately recorded!

Device Details (12)

Device Details is where you will discover your Unique ID, which will allow you to add your device to the Kaiterra Web App! This is also where you can check for any firmware updates for the device. We recommend keeping Auto Update on so your device will regularly check for new firmware versions.

Connectivity (13)

Device Details is also where you can set your Connectivity Settings for MQTT, BACnet/IP, and Modbus. Make sure to check out our guides on configuring these connectivity settings for more information.

Sensedge Overview (10)

And that's it! Once your device is properly configured, you can view your real-time and historical data both on the device and the Kaiterra Web App. Make sure to refer to our Web App Setup Guide for more information!
