This article will walk you through the configuration steps for your Sensedge Go (and Gateway)

Before you begin
You must have the following set up before on-site installation (and configuration):
- A Kaiterra Data Platform account
- The building(s) created in your data platform account
If you do not have access to your Kaiterra Data Platform account, make sure to contact your Kaiterra Sales or Success rep to have your data platform account created + create your building(s) before on-site installation (and configuration).
Step 1: Download the "Kaiterra Go" app
Head to the Apple App Store / Google Play Store and download the Kaiterra Go app.
Once installed, open the app and log in to your Kaiterra Data Platform account.
Step 2: Navigate to your building
Reminder: you must have your building(s) created in the Kaiterra Data Platform before installation/configuration of your Sensedge Go devices.
If you have not created your buildings yet, please log in to the Kaiterra Data Platform and create your building before proceeding to the next step.
Step 3: Set up your gateway
Once your building is selected, you will see your building info, gateway info, and "add a device".
Before you can add any devices, you must first add a gateway.
Select "Add a device" --> "Add a gateway" and follow the on-screen instructions.
IMPORTANT: Once you power on the gateway, the gateway must remain on, without interruption, for 5-10 minutes.
During this time, the gateway will be completing its factory and Kaiterra-specific configuration settings. Interrupting this step (ie. unplugging the gateway) will cause a critical failure in the configuration process.
Once you scan the gateway's QR code, navigate to the "Gateway Info" page and do not proceed to the next step until the "Status" changes to "Ready" (5-10 minutes).
Step 4: Set up your devices
After your gateway(s) are configured and "Ready" to go, it's time to set up your devices!
Navigate back to the "Building Info" page, select "Add a device" --> "Add Sensedge Go" and follow the on-screen instructions.
RE: "Power on your Sensedge Go"
- When powered on, the Sensedge Go's indicator light (on the front) will blink blue, indicating that it is powering on
- Once the light starts to blink orange, it is ready to be scanned
Place your phone over the Kaiterra Logo until a checkmark appears and the screen changes (moving away too soon may interrupt the pairing process).
The device will now register and connect to the cloud.
Once this checklist is complete, a “Proceed” button will appear.
Press the button to proceed to Space Setup.
Note: If you run into any errors during this step, it is because the device did not pair correctly or the device may have been provisioned before.
If either error appears, press and hold the RESET pinhole button for 10 seconds (below the power switch). Once the indicator light rapidly flashes blue, retry this step.
Step 5: Set up (or assign) your spaces
Spaces are how we determine where each device is being installed(ie. Kitchen, Conference Room, Gym, etc.)
Spaces can be configured in the Kaiterra Data Platform beforehand (similar to the building). However, you can also create spaces in the app, making it easy to do during the installation process.
Choose the existing floor and space (or create the space in the app) and press "Finish" when you are done.
Step 6: You are done!
Once the space is set, your device has been successfully configured!
From here, you can "Exit", or you can start setting up another device right away!
"Add Go" will send you directly back to Step 4.
