Yes. The Sensedge is portable and easy to set up, making it ideal for clients to test with their project(s).
The Sensedge comes with a built-in battery so that you can walk around with it and take measurements. The battery life is about 5 hours with the screen powered on, and 11 hours with the screen powered off.
You can also leave the device on-site to provide continuous, long-term monitoring. In this case, make sure the device is connected to a power source.
The Sensedge also comes with these features that are great for on-site testing:
- Offline and cloud-based data storage. The Sensedge is designed to collect and store data, both online and offline, for maximum flexibility and data buffer. The device offers built-in data storage that can hold over 50 million data points. You can choose to connect the Sensedge to a network and view the data online, or export via a Micro SD card.
- Password feature. When leaving your device on-site, make sure to enable the password on the Sensedge, so that the settings on the device won't be changed by others.
