In the current Kaiterra Go app, you must log in to your Data Platform account to configure any Kaiterra devices. This article outlines how to use Single Sign-On (SSO) as a login option.
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log into the Kaiterra app using your organization's existing credentials, making access faster and more secure.
For more information on how to use Single Sign-On, please refer to this article.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that:
- Your organization has SSO enabled with Kaiterra
- You have an active account with your organization's identity provider
- You know the email address associated with your SSO account
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Kaiterra App
Launch the Kaiterra app on your mobile device. You'll see the main login screen.
Step 2: Select SSO Login
On the login screen, locate and tap the "Log in via SSO" button at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to the Single Sign-On authentication flow.
Step 3: Enter Your SSO Email Address
You'll now see the Single Sign-On screen where you need to enter your credentials.
In the Email field, enter the email address that's associated with your organization's SSO system. This should be the same email you use to log into other company applications.
Step 4: Initiate SSO Login
After entering your email address, tap the "Login" button. This will redirect you to your organization's identity provider login page.
Step 5: Complete Authentication at Your Identity Provider
You'll be redirected to your organization's login portal (such as Microsoft Azure, Entra, Google Workspace, Okta, or another identity provider).
- Enter your usual work credentials (username and password)
- Complete any additional authentication steps your organization requires (such as two-factor authentication)
- Follow your organization's standard login process
Step 6: Return to Kaiterra
Once you've successfully authenticated with your identity provider, you'll be automatically redirected back to the Kaiterra app and logged in to your account.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during the SSO login process:
- Email not recognized: Verify that your email address is correct and that your organization has enabled SSO access for your account
- Authentication fails: Contact your IT administrator to ensure your SSO account is properly configured
- Redirect issues: Try closing and reopening the app, then attempt the SSO login process again
Alternative Login Methods
If SSO is not available or you're experiencing issues, you can still log in using:
- Standard username and password (if you have a direct Kaiterra account)
- The "I don't have an account" option to create a new account
- The "Forgot password" link if you need to reset your credentials
