Do Kaiterra Monitors Meet WELL Sensor Specification Requirements?

WELL outlines hardware requirements for air quality monitoring devices, including sensor specifications, accuracy, resolution, and performance standards. Kaiterra monitors meet these technical specifications, ensuring WELL project compliance.

Meeting WELL Sensor Specifications

WELL requires that indoor air quality monitors meet specific hardware performance standards, including:

  • Accuracy: Sensors must maintain the precision specified in the WELL Performance Verification Guidebook.
  • Resolution: Sensors must detect meaningful changes in pollutant concentrations.
  • Performance over time: Devices must maintain stable performance between calibration cycles.

These requirements ensure that the collected data is accurate, reliable, and suitable for WELL performance verification.

In addition to these requirements, continuous monitors that are RESET Grade B or above can be utilized for WELL features and parts that require continuous monitoring. RESET-accredited monitors still must meet the calibration, measurement interval, and reporting frequencies outlined in the Performance Verification Guidebook.

This means all Kaiterra monitors are fully compliant with WELL sensor technical requirements through RESET Grade B certification.

Sensor Specifications for WELL Compliance

WELL defines technical requirements for each monitored parameter to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. For specific hardware standards, refer to the WELL Performance Verification Guidebook, Table 3: Sensor Technical Specification Requirements in the Continuous Monitoring Requirements section.

All Kaiterra monitors are RESET Grade B certified, which automatically satisfies these technical specifications for the supported parameters.

Note: Table 3 outlines the sensor technical specification requirements. Alternatively, continuous monitors that are RESET accredited Grade B or higher can be used for features and parts that can be met with continuous monitoring. RESET-accredited monitors deployed for WELL projects must still comply with the calibration, measurement interval, and reporting frequency requirements specified in the Performance Verification Guidebook.

How Kaiterra Devices Meet WELL Sensor Specifications

All Kaiterra monitors are RESET Grade B certified, recognized by WELL as compliant with sensor performance standards for continuous IAQ monitoring pathways.

This ensures that your project is fully aligned with WELL hardware standards and ready for performance verification submissions.

Kaiterra monitors also exceed minimum requirements in several key ways:

Kaiterra monitors are designed to support WELL compliance. As RESET™ Grade B certified devices, they satisfy the technical specifications outlined in the Performance Verification Guidebook.

In addition to hardware specifications, Kaiterra monitors meet calibration requirements, record data at the intervals specified by WELL, and support proper reporting frequencies, ensuring that all continuous monitoring data is fully compliant for WELL features.
